U2023 - can anybody help?

Over the past few week I've occasionally had the dreaded F appear on the dash display along with Transmission Fault / EPB Fault / Lowered Suspension / Limited gears available etc etc. All power is then lost. I've turned the car off, let it shut down and then restarted without the problem re-appearing but it is getting worse and more regular. Had to be recovered by the AA yesterday & their machine showed a fault code of U2023. I can't find too much info on that code, other than it is a communication problem and could be related to torque information, CAN, fuel filter / pump or any one of a number of things. Does anyone have any ideas what the real problem might be?

If it does need to go in (as I am a novice and would not be able to fix it myself!) would a good indy be able to deal with it as well as a dealer or should I suck it up and take in to LR? I am near Woking in Surrey so any recommendations would be gratefully received.

It is a 2007 HSE btw.

I have had similar behaviour not so long ago and car was coming up with DTC related to HPFP and later injector issues acting exactly the same no power for a few seconds but back to normal after restart... It have been diagnosed and nothing found but I have put two bottles of Wynns Diesel treatment in it ages ago and since than nothing not even a sneeze

might be worth giving it a go as the treatment was only 30 quid and HPFP replacement was to be over 800 Shocked

just and idea

Thanks grzesiul. I ended up taking it into Wimbledon Land Rover and was diagnosed as a fuel flow problem. I was due a service anyway so fuel filter was changed as part of that and all seems to be well. Wynns probably would have worked too though so great shout! May even stick a bottle in for good measure next time I see it.

Just wanted too say I had same symptoms twice in two days having to pull over with the car ablaze with fault lights and minimal power but enough to pull over.

As previously said no problem restarting but about 15 miles later it did it again.

I have treated with Wynns TOTAL fuel system cleaner x 2 (in full tank) and all now all seems to be well touch wood Thumbs Up
