Uncomfortable Drivers Seat
I yesterday took delivery of my D4 HSE Lux. I have now driven 200 miles on and off since yesterday.
I found the back and lumber support very comfortable but the bottom cushion where my bum sits on after driving for about 20 minutes hurts me. I checked the seat and there seems to be cushionwher my bum sits on but don't know what's under the cushion. After driving for 45 minutes I had to pull over as was in quite alot of discomfort where it was a bit painful.
I will report it to the dealer but has anyone had any issues with front seats or especially the drivers seat?

try adjusting the seat base so it is offering more support on the back of your thighsIt is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

I once had this problem with a Freelander, they fitted a new seat squab under warranty. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I find my 13my very comfy. Seat base angle is important to get right.

Certainly find my D4 seats not as comfortable as the D3.
I get lower back aches on long drives, never bothered me in the D3.
Found out they are different seat base cushions.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

I bought my 4 HSE in November 2011. Middle of December went to Dr's with aches and pains in backside. Do you get the pains in other cars or on other seats? I find that wooden seats have become more comfortable and soft and very soft seats cause the discomfort. I have had Disco's since 1992 and this is the firstone to cause this problem.
PM me if you wish to have Doctor's opinions.

ISTR there was a similar thread when the D4 first came out, peeps complaining about the comfort of the GS especially. Even more reason to stick with my beat up 06MY S, seats are as comfy as old slippers and as good as the day i got it. Suprising after suffering my weight for over 100k miles.

I have now driven my car for a few hundred miles and it seems what I can describe is a had piece of wood to the rear of the seat. My dealer says they are going to dismantle the seat and to have a look. I personally think they should replace the seat under warranty.
I have in th mean time ordered a car seat that has a memory foam, I hope this helps?
