Upgrade the Ecu to enable paddle shift

So guys I updated the the steering wheel over xmas to paddle shift and took the plunge and bought an BT iid tool question is do I reset the adaptive gearbox before I flash the ecu to enable the flappy paddles

The second question is to do it do I have to update the iid tool to custom and flash the ecu with that one thanks in advance Thumbs Up God created heavy armour on 06 sept 1916, on the 7th the devil stood to attention!

So I got mine second hand for £300 quid but if I’m honest if you find someone close who doesn’t mind adding your vin to their tool you could do it for a crate of beer plus £75 which is a massive saving compared to the £300

Yep type in to google gap diagnostics and their website will come up

Basically allowys you to change pretty much everything on the car some things you have to pay for but the majority is free it helps a lot with servicing and fault finding also God created heavy armour on 06 sept 1916, on the 7th the devil stood to attention!

So its the BT model ill need? Cant see anything about activating paddle shift.. How far are either of you from SW15 2SU? If its not too far and your interested it may be worth the drive for me?
