Take it back to the Dealer and get them to fix it for you, or you'll be invoicing them for the replacement when (not if) it gets knicked ... Regards,

Managed to get the old lock off the mechanism , I can now see why it could be lifted. thanks for the help in this forum , my dealer has been kind enough to agree to send a new one in the post , we shall see how long that lasts, it will get a soaking in oil!
