Useful (missing) accessory

G'day all,
I'm an italian forum user, not yet owner of Disco3 Big Cry
I've read somewhere that Disco3 doesn't have an outside temperature display !!!
Is it true? A 4x4 like Disco3 doesn't have a 10£ accessory? I can't believe that in Land Rover they've "forgot" this useful accessory !!!
Other plaints comes from the clock, set in the centre of the instrument panel. Someone tells that is unreadable whilst driving; are you agree or not?
Last plaint is that Disco3 (5 places version) is not equipped with a loadspace cover in the rear; leaving tools, luggage etc, totally on view.
Thanks for reply Smile

There is an outside temperature display.

Clock is readable - not the best place i agree but it's OK.

5 seat version - dunno - i went up range and got the cheapo 7 seat version with tonneau cover...

I got a rear space cover in my 5 seater. Ext. temp reading comes from the message centre. You need to have terrain response to have a message centre AFAIK.
Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

Ciao Gladiatore! Unfortunately you're right with the missing outside temp display, if talking about the S-type. I've just 'added' an RDS-thermometer on mine... (pls see also http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic7881.ht...mp+gauge)!

I agree also on the incorrect placement and bad readability of the clock. I've got a better readout on my TomTom screen, placed on the centre cavity (pls see also http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/displayima...mp;pos=2)!

Cargo bay cover is included in Switzerland!

Regards
Gi

What is it with Italians and the temperature display?

And they say us English just talk about the weather! Laughing

BTW, here is a picture of my display, displaying the temperature at the Brenner Pass in Italy in May this year! Very Happy
