(although some of the contributors seem determined to misunderstand the bleeding obvious )
my view would be take the new feed from the supply end of the fuse holder ( "position A" option in the diagrams posted in the link) of a suitable high current, non-critical, circuit and fit an inline fuse on your new circuit.
that way, you don't overload the original supply wiring and if your new circuit blows it's own fuse it's just a normal fuse that needs replacing and not the piggy-back fuse. .
