VanMaster 'vans

I dont want to have a go at folks that have one, so dont take offence at this.

I was at Chatsworth CC site late week, and 2 folks near me had VanMaster v640 'vans (one towing with a 66plate Landmark)

I know these are handbuilt 'vans, but looking on their website it said prices start from 58k Shocked

Apart from being bloody expensive, they look so old fashoned from the outside. My missus said they were bloody ugly and wouldnt want to be seen dead owning one - sorry.

That "purple glow" is actually the interior lighting emitting from the holes in the floor Whistle

Fixed subtle blue colour, I don't want anything vulgar like flashing and changing colours (That's just for mass produced vans) Whistle

I own one and am very pleased with it. It ticks all our boxes.
We bought it because our previous new British built van ended up like this after its first trip

And no it wasn't kerbed or hit by anything just appalling build/design quality.

I'd like to see you stay in that in the wintertime. Caravaning to me is all about what you want from it, if it's all modern luxury great, if it's just to get the kids away for a weekend that's great too, there are a million and one reasons to have one and a million and one options that may or may not suit you. However, I don't think you can say someone is a sheep for having a modern van any more than someone can say you're a scummer for having a cheap old van. Horses for courses and room for every taste Thumbs Up

I agree. Its all about what you want out of it. Personally, I don't like mainstream in anything I do but there are always compromises.

As for winter, the underfloor heating works really well and keeps us toasty. Thumbs Up
