Was there a new bit of research this last week about the effects of vaping being as bad as smoking. I stopped 13 weeks ago and went cold turkey the cost of the Paraphernalia and keep topping up with liquids didn't seem worth it in money or hassle. It has been hard as the wife still smokes and isn't ready to quit yet Rolling Eyes

There no way that a vape contains the same or worse chemicals than a fag ..it's just not possible.

I didn't know you can 'adjust' them for the smoke cloud level - I just thought it was different types of puff or 'machine' in use.

I don't like the huge clouds of it being blown around at times when you then have to walk through it and the cloying smell of some of them with their 'candy-pop' flavours is disgusting.

Smoking and vaping is 'banned' at work except for the smoking huts/areas around the site but many vapers think this doesn't apply to them (company policy clearly states it does) and when you tackle them (as a manager, not some self-righteous twerp on a fanatical drive of zeal) they are more self-righteous than smokers I've found. Guess there's still that grey area of some not seeing it the same as smoking?

I've followed cars where I wonder how they driver can even see where they are going as the car is full of smoke and its streaming out the window like an overheating radiator on full release. Even worse when there are kids in the car......... Rolling Eyes
