Well, after 10 weeks and 10500 miles here are my tips for you....
1) Keep a seat memory position that has the seat well forward. It can then be reached whilst stood at the rear door. This enables me to drop the back seat without the headrest fowling the back of the driver's seat. I am 6'5'' so this might not be such an issue for most.
2) Whilst a bottle of champagne can be chilled in the fridge if you stuff a suitable item of clothing round the bottle to insulate it and leave the lid open it is not ideal. I have found that a small fridge the likes of which are sold by landrover work brilliantly when placed on the left of the load space. The rear AC when set to back passenger control can be made to blow cold air into the load space (enters back left when viewed from the tailgate). With the load cover deployed the cabin can be kept nice and warm and the contents of the fridge get REALLY cold by comparison to normal operation.
3) When providing a taxi service for your wife and her friends lower the suspension to access height when picking them up, then raise it to off road height and watch them fall out when dropping them at their destination!  Serial Depreciation Victim

Sadly I've fallen victim to this myself, when I forgot I had the car in offroad height and stepped out into thin air.  I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
