Prop shaft changed when I got it off and inspected it the rubber bearing mount was half split. But more importantly the CV joint to the rear differential was very clunky and didn’t turn easily glad I did it when I did. Drives like a dream again.
Sounds promising!
Did you do it yourself? If so was it easy? Might whip mine off and check it. Where did you source yours from?
Thanks

I did it with my son easy enough but the rear bolts are bloody tight. Purchased it from site sponsors Advance Factors next day delivery.

Car came off the road in April due to lack of air con and a suspension compressor.
One suspension compressor later and cooler weather - its back on the road.
Weird thing is, no more noises or severe vibration which i'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.
There maybe some slight vibrations at 70-80mph.
I'm going to check the rear prop again, take the front cover off to check the front prop and will jack each corner up to check the bearings, but I am a bit confused by it all.
Reluctant to take it on any long journeys until I can pin point it out.
Done over 100 miles in it now since its been back on the road, so would have thought something would of showed its face by now!

Crawled underneath it tonight.
Whipped the front covers off. All looks OK on the front prop. Bit clunky/play in the front diff, not sure if that’s normal?
Back at the rear. Went over the rear prop. Pretty much same as before but a load of play in the centre bearing or the rubber boot bit. Not quite sure how it should be, but I’m guessing it shouldn’t be like that? Would that give me the noises I had in April?
Thanks
