Vibration on idle

Hi, my disco3 v8 hse vibrates on idle revs (650-1500 RPM), it shows no error codes, like misfires or something. It vibrate more on particular 1000-1100 RPM and kind of less on other RPMs in a range. What can be the problem, maybe injectors need a clean?

Or the exhaust mountings could be hardening with age. My exhaust has a vibration at 1200 to 1300 Rpm which I think is the mounts aging.

Suggest cleaning the throttle body.

About every 5000 miles.

Perhaps worth attacking everything with a spray bottle of water too, just to make sure you don't have an air leak somewhere.

Hmm, what should I observe after spraying water on the engine? Never done such a thing.

A sucking / gurgling noise when you find a leaking pipe, union or component. Sometimes the RPM fluctuates too.

The other method uses a flammable spray that will trigger an RPM rise when the leak is found.

Sorry to bring back up this old thread but did you end up finding out what causing those engine vibrations at 1100 rpm? I have the same issue with my 08 hse. Thank you
