Vibration/Steering Wobble

Getting an odd issue with vibration through the steering wheel.

It started a few months ago when i left work, Got up to 30mph and got a lot of vibration through the wheel, almost like i had a flat tyre , Stopped and checked, nothing, It went away and came back at 50 , thought maybe a sticky calliper as it had been parked all day, braked heavily and it went away for a few days.

Came back on the motorway at 60, gone at 70 , got the wheels balanced and one had too much weight on it but others were fine. Again the vibration went away for a while.

Now get the odd bit of vibration as before at random speeds when driving along, sometimes also get it when braking from 70mph onto a slip road coming off the motorway, almost as though the tyres have gotten into two grooves in the road?

I was thinking warped discs....But that would be every time i brake?
Lower arm bushes (know these have issues on the D4, but no mention of them on the MOT in June)
Sticking calliper?

Any thoughts? It's going into a non LR garage on friday, someone i've been using for years that i trust not to fleece me, but some starting points would be good!

Hi Saense
Did you ever find out what caused the issue. Im currently having an issue on a 2014 D4 and again like you thought wheel balancing.

Happens on different surfaces but doesnt happen all the time.

Need to book it in but would be good to have an idea about what could possibly cause it.

Cheers
Marc

Looks like Lower Arm Bushes are shot,

When i bought the car, It was back in the garage within weeks for an electrical fault, a different dealer than i bought it from. They said then that there was play in the bushes and the dealer i bought it from examined themselves and said no fault... Some interesting conversations to be had on Monday as they clearly were on the way out some time ago!
