You certainly have my sympathy... having driven up to and back from Aberdeenshire on numerous occasions over the last few months I can honestly say that the standard of driving on UK roads has plummeted to a new low, from the people who sit in the middle lane on an empty motorway (and then make obscene gestures when you flash them) to random idiots who drive in the outside lane until the last minute before turning off almost at 90 degrees to the junction and those who join a road by simply driving straight off the slip road without a care about others that are already on the main road with traffic to their right.

I had the clincher yesterday though, driving down a narrow country road I received verbal abuse from a driver of an Audi A1 who refused to pull his car over into the gravel area to the side of the road and insisted that I reverse 40 yds into someones driveway as he didn't want to get his car dirty... (needless to say I didn't reverse Laughing ) I was then subjected to a tirade of abuse and hand gestures (all captured on video)... but I quite honestly can't be arsed to report it as from my experiences the Police aren't interested unless there has been damage or someone has been hurt...

I really hope the idiot gets more than a telling off but the courts just aren't up to the job...
I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

So a call from my local Force today...

They are coming round on Monday to take details, statements, videos etc. They will pursue a charge of Criminal Damage.

I am happy the police are taking this seriously.

I can't believe the number of people who think they have right of way as they are going to be on the wrong side ogf the road so don't wait. One of which drove into me rather than pause for 5 secs (literally).

Or my insurance who will not pursue a claim against me even though my photographic evidence and the other parties own statement show him to be in the wrong??

Must admit as a side note I often wonder how many scammers are out there who deliberately cause an accident but then soon change there mind when they realise there’s a dashcam,

@mr brain, that’s fantastic news and really hope they are taken to task over it , they could have caused considerable injuries to u , thk god ur ok, apart from the shock
