Just picked up a set of headlamp covers A$98.00, they weigh in at just over 700 grams, it would cost A$28 to airmail a set to the UK. TDV6 SE (Ausie Spec) COOOL Chawton White.

I would be interested in some of these. Maybe if enough of us in the UK get together, we could arrange a bulk shipment and save some costs.
There is a small chance I may have to go to Sydney on businness in December, so if this comes off I could take an empty suitcase! Not pulled the deal off yet though.

I've just ordered a set of headlight protectors from Formula 4x4, £29.99 all in. So we should know in the next day or two if they're the same ones as LR are selling in Oz!The End

Quite a lot cheaper than the Aussie ones..
I have eventually got around to fitting my headlight protectors. I have put a couple more pictrures in my gallery plus a couple of the Aussie spec rear mudflaps..... Ignore the 'Bug' splattered front, have not been able to wash the car since my back surgery.

Want these too but with the blanking areas for European driving... like the Freelander ones. Quicker and easier than taking out the damn headlights, flicking a switch and then hoping the switch stays and the lights stay aligned... all on the dock side - not good.
And it WILL be raining when you do this too
My old Renault (flippin years ago) had a switch on the dash to move the lights across... my cannot the 21st C LR do this ?
They arrived today, blooming good considering it was free postage and I put the order in at 15:26 yesterday to Formula 4x4
They look identical to the ones our antipodean friends have with the exception of having EGR in the corner rather than the LR badge, but a small LR sticker will easily remedy that. I'll try and find time to fit them tomorrow or over the weekend and take some photos
They're on special offer at the mo, £30 down from £35 I think, so if you're thinking of getting some now's the time
