You have to make yourself sound like "Barry White" to have the greatest effect Bruce 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

say how do you get the female voice? The male sounds like one of those jokers serving in a dept store when he does not like the look of the customer - ice dripping off every word.
think he has trouble with the aussie accent though hehe then again so do the yanks!
Have to say the only command I am able to get working reliably is radio tune functions and "POI off"
If I ask it to "Go Home" all I get is "sorry" or "that command is not . . . "
it could be a very useful tool if it was a little more adept. 2007/8 TDV6 SE Active diff, cooler box, spotties, Alpine DVD, Hi-ICE, Premium NAV yada yada

I just managed to change the voice setting to the "female" voice by going into settings/voice/ and selecting UK English. It had the US English Male selected.
I then tried talking softly to it and voila' it is working quite well. Even the problematic "Navigation go home" command is working reliably.
As Mum always said "talk to ladies gently" hehe 2007/8 TDV6 SE Active diff, cooler box, spotties, Alpine DVD, Hi-ICE, Premium NAV yada yada

your right - the soft speech works tried it this evening & all the commands seem to work even with heater / ac fan running & car going 60kms/hr
thanks for the fix BREXIT - done properly.

my pleasure mate.
I have to say that I am rapt in the headlights on this thing, the BiXenon with the adaptive lights, front fog lights plus the landrover spotlights I also have turn Aussie highways into day. 2007/8 TDV6 SE Active diff, cooler box, spotties, Alpine DVD, Hi-ICE, Premium NAV yada yada

I only started appreciating the adaptive headlights when using the Disco on narrow twisty back roads & you then realise the way you turning into is lit - going back to another car without adaptive you really notice the difference.
Also on low beam behind other traffic there is no dazzle...worth the extra money. BREXIT - done properly.
