Voice recognition

Have tried searching for the steps to activate the voice recognition via the IID. I have a 2010 D4 XS so button on the steering wheel is not active. I can find the voice control in the CCF menu in the IID but it says not installed and when I go into the setting there are no options there change. Is there a step im missing or is there actual hardware that needs adding? IID Tool
Disco 1 tdi traded up

Get more sense of it than SWMBO and it doesn't answer back Laughing IID Tool

check workshop man for this option and what needs installing proior to enalbing
having IIDtool you can run ecu scan and pop the list over email to verify hardware installed and possible software updated for it

also some modles are dependant I have noticed so you need to know pretty much exaclty what needs switching on

have you checked GAP website in support section for this option feedback?

Sorry, going to try to resurrect this thread as interested in activating it. A while ago I know, but you get it working and was any physical stuff needed or was it just a software change? Thanks

Yes I got it sorted but cant remember the exact CCF setting. Pat at Gap emailed me the settings and just needed enabling with the IID tool. No additional hardware was required. Just drop him an email
