What became of him? I met him just the once at a Surrey meet, the one where we parked on the grass in front of the pub. IIRC he was having a RAI fitted to his RRS.

It's amusing that many people now know that part of the Plain as VA's crossing, even though they've no idea why it's called that. This includes several members of one of the Jeep clubs that a friend belongs to. Laughing
