I'd been told that these are rendered unfit prior to binning, so as to avoid possible legal issues if they fail when in use by the second owner.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

no, we got it from Rossleigh in Stockton, they did us a better deal.
It's in to Massey's tomorrow for the rear parking sensors (4th time!!)

I had problems too with armstrong massey. A quick call to LR and they were OK after that.
I've been to langdale quest in dalby forest, and that was fun but was only in a suzuki sj. LRO magazine are doing a two for one there at the moment.

With regard to fitting 19 or 20" alloys, Neneoverland have a V8 D3 for sale which has 20" RRsport alloys on it, so they do fit. Just make sure you get the right tyre profile for Disco 3 (255/55x19 or 255/50x20), as the RRS runs slightly lower as standard.

19 inch wheels
I have 4 19 inch HSE Disco 3 wheels bought from a fellow member brand new when he changed his to 22 inch! used for 2000 miles on my Disco 3 S, now have a Disco 3 HSE which of course has its own already on so surplus to requirements. If anybody wants to bid for them let me know before I out them on ebay. Cheers.
