| [Wanted] Big Padlock required urgently. |
|
I need a Big very secure serious padlock to lock up a shipping container.
Needs to be enclosed shackle or Block type.
Plenty to buy online for @£100-£120, but the trouble is I need it for Tuesday morning and nobody will guarantee postage by then.
No stores appear to have stock of anything suitable locally, even Screwfix don't have stock of the decent range they sell.
Does anyone local to South Hampshire have one I can buy or even borrow until I can get one delivered.

Have you tried ironmongery direct ? -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

Given your location might it be worth contacting some of the shipping container companies in Southampton to see if they have any? When we bought our last 20' container we bought a good quality Yale container lock from the people selling the container. Companies which hire them out for storage may also have a stock. Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE and 2013 MY D4 HSE

I can't leave another vehicle in front of it at the site where it's stored.
If I don't have any luck I'll try phoning some local companies on Tuesday morning.
Unfortunately being bank holiday weekend, and having just discovered this evening that I need it by @10.00hrs Tuesday morning I'm a bit stuck.

Can you get it welded shut and deal with it later? D4 XS, Prospeed Rack & Ladder, Drawer System, Split Charge, GG AT3s, Now with added black bits

If you try one of the big self storage outlets they also sell locks
