[Wanted] Inlet manifold injector spacers/collars

So, like a complete idiot when taking off my inlet manifold I heard something fall out and drop down the front of the engine bay. I thought it was a bolt but no! So, on the way to putting it back in I realised that in the cover where the bolts for the injectors go there is a little rubber/metal collar, mits of which were still there but I’m missing a couple. Was actually missing three but found one on the undertray. Despite several hours of hunting for them I can’t find them for love nor money.

So, don’t suppose anyone happens to know if you can get them separately rather than buying a whole cover? Or better still, anyone got any lying around they would be prepared to part with.

TIA
Jon

Might not be much help, but having dropped items from engine rebuilds (onto the floor and undertray), I have had a fish about with a magnetic inspection light and on many occasions found an item I could not physically see.

Maybe sweep the ground and engine bay with a similar approach.

Just a thought.

A valid thought, I have had a try with my magnet but are going to do the same again when I pull the car onto the trailer later as well. Not holding out much hope as the hinder trays are off and it’s def not on the floor. If I didn’t know better I would say that it wasn’t there to begin with but the cover was way too clean for that to be the case!
