[Wanted] Nearside wing mirror entire unit - Disco 4 (2012)

Looking for a passenger-side wing mirror for my Discovery 4 HSE if anybody has one going at a reasonable price?

The actual arm that holds the casing/glass is fine - its the mirror glass, outer cover and inner plastic this is broken (see picture). But appreciate difficult to get individual parts so resigned to buying the whole thing.

Mirror has heat, powerfold, indicator etc (HSE)

Not bothered about colour as will get sprayed (unless by some miracle somebody has one in Aintree Green!)

Which is the inner plastic part that’s broken? You can get the glass and cover separate (aftermarket covers are about £30 and look like they are from the same factory as genuine LR but with the logo ground off) so if the inners not to bad you may be ok to just leave it.

Yeh its the plastic frame that the mirror glass sits in that's broken (i.e. the bit that fits onto the metal arm)

I've ordered a cheap 2nd hand replacement off of eBay now but wrong colour cover.

Do you know if its possible to get aftermarket covers in specific colours? I've googled but can only see generic colours (not aintree green which I appreciate is a big ask!)

Resigned to probably paying a local spray shop to spray it up for me

Ive never seen the after market covers in anything other than the common colours.

You could try painting yourself, a can of paint from the dealer (or Halfords) and a good lacquer. There should be little prep required other than to rough the paint and blend out any stone chips followed by a degreaser. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)
