water in fuel

I filled up at Tesco yesterday and today I have got a warning message "water in fuel" on the information screen. I have never seen this before but never mind; I googled it and it seems I need to empty the interceptor/filter. Any suggestions as to where it is and how I do it would be received gratefully. Thank you.

From memory the fuel filter is under the drivers seat but you need to access from under the car and you will need to remove some covers.

The fuel filter has a drain on the bottom of it - the filter looks like a large oil filter

Should look something like this...
