Is there anything, other than the cost, to stop you using bottled water?
You guys who buy Waitrose own label Scottish bottled water are paying £1.20 odd a litre for the water from Carron Valley Reservoir which is in the hills above my house.

I could make a fortune flogging Carron Valley Car washing Water!

I may be wrong but I think there may be something in the small print that says you are not allowed to run a hose from a butt when there is a hose pipe ban could be due to them thinking that all water is theirs.

I'd be interested to know if that's true but I'd be pretty p***ed off if it is - I've paid to rig up a system to collect water that falls out of the sky and they want to try and stop me? Hmm...

Maybe I'll buy some of Tim's bottled car-wash water instead Wink

You could always drive up to Lancashire to wash your car. We've had bucketloads of rain over the last few weeks. Today is the first sunny day for about a week.

And you get the lawn watered at the same time as washing the car, giving you time on your hands
