Webasto Oval Timer - Disabling Timer Bit

Hi

Have an oval timer linked to GSM box and all working but can’t see how I can disable the preset times? Anyone any idea if this is possible or do I just set all present times to 10 mins and let run.

Thanks

You need to do the flame button mod.
Do a search, you'll find it.

Thanks Narpy - that bit is all done and working. I text/phone and it starts FBH etc.
I’m assuming however that the preset times will also start the heater and sort of wanted it to be manual when I start it only.

Of course I may be wrong and timer presets may not work?

Cheers

The oval timer is set at 30 minutes by default.
A basic system will give you a 30 minute run time. Most people who enquire are looking to improve on the default setting.
Sounds like your timer has been reprogrammed.

Thanks - am I right in thinking the timer doesn’t activate on the preset times unless I pick one the day before? So only way it will come on if I don’t select a preset time is via flame button or flame button being pressed by calling GSM remote.

That sounds correct.
Flame button is default 30 mins but this is programmable.
Timer function only works as a timer if you've pre-set it. Thumbs Up

I'm pretty certain you don't have to use the timer function. Can you not just de-select it or not have it set?
My own controller uses the oval timer too but I never use the timed function, only the remote switch via the flame button mod. Wink
