Yay for Dorset!
Nodosh - Respect to you that you didn't batter the clown. Even though I'm almost a foot shorter than those fearsome Boers of yours, I find myself hard-pressed not to get drawn into some violent confrontations every day in the traffic. (Not with the Boers, who are my brothers , with the taxi drivers)
I have had guns pulled on me, the car whacked with various items for not giving way to some dickwheat trying to push past on the shoulder of the road, my wife threatened with an axe, etc etc, but your example is the only way to deal with this situation - take a deep breath and let the squeeze by.
On another tack - Martin how about we get some emoticons that are more typical of the African wildlife, ie. elephants, lions, and minibus taxi's

Only fearsome when they won't serve you at the bar. Pussycats the rest of the time, so they are. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
Hmmm, washed the car this evening and there's a small dent on the front edge of the side protection tube and more damage to the wheelarch than I thought, although still possible to make good with a sharp blade and some trim gel.
Still not going to bother claiming as the side tubes are there for a purpose, and they seem to be proving their worth already. If I get too precious about things like this I'd never take it offroad. If there were panel damage on the other hand I'd be asking 24 people down from Salisbury on Sunday afternoon to pay a visit to the Avensis driver, complete with winches and towing strops......I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Oops, just remembered I own a Toyota!!!! Deffinately wasn't mine, my D3s have him well trained! Mind you Mrs DSL did almost have a police car go into the Toyots this Monday on a roundabout because the plod was not paying attention!
That's not one of these Totoya Primus Stoves by any chance, is it DSL?I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
