Weight Distribution Hitch?

Hello All,

I've recently purchased an LR3 and will be using it to tow my travel trailer (caravan for those of you over the pond...).

I believe LR say that weight distribution hitches are a no-no, but after a bit of google searching on various forums some folks use them and some do not - any opinions out there?

Would appreciate any input - thanks!

Hi rq,
The only D3/LR3 owners who could use a wdh are those with coil spring suspension. For those with air suspension it is a NO-NO as there is the likelihood of the suspension and wdh "fighting" with each other, possibly causing damage.

The adjustable air suspension is so clever that it automatically adjusts for the towball load.

Drive them without the wdh and enjoy the experience.

Best Wishes,
Peter

Thanks Peter, appreciate the advise. Reckon I'll ditch the wight distribution.
