Hi all, have looked at your website for years to get thoughts & ideas on things that I could apply to my Freelander, as it's smaller everything is a lot more challenging to fit in. I needed more things for the Australian outback, like carrying extra fuel (50 litres), second spare wheel, multiple air compressors, additional battery & recovery gear.Visitor - Freelander owner

Hi I hope the Disco repays your enthusiasm, mine has so far. Love it every time I walk past it or drive it.
Good luck with the caravan trip, that is my excuse for owning the D3!

Hello. Just purchased a 2006 D3 @ 114,000mls. Previously owned Discovery 1&2s. V6 is new to me. Pleased so far, but need some bits & help. Think mine basic 5 seater. Fitted leather steering wheel today with all the buttons - how do I get cruise control to work? Also, buttons missing off radio, so how much for 2nd hand radio/CD/DVD Player? Thanks for any help. Eddie

Welcome. Owning a disco is like a (mostly) love-love relationship with a very high maintenance person

new to this forum
Just got a Disco 3, after having a Disco 1 for 10 years, amazed at the difference from 1996 to 2006, the old Disco was a mechanical device with a few wires attached, this Disco is a mass of electronics with a few mechanical bits hanging off it.
Slowly working my way around it all.
Steve
