Yep checked out the previous mot history before I even called them. It had all that work done and the belts will be changed again and a new pump fitted in the next few weeks. Also going to look at lower arms and a gearbox flush.
Being a Landy there’s always something to tinker with!
Is that a jeep i see in your avatar, so you must enjoy a challenge too
Not my vehicle in the avatar unfortunately but like the look of it and could make use of the .50 sometimes when driving around London Goodyear Duratracs

Hi, I have just purchased a 2007 disco 3 with only 45k on the clock supported with full service history very pleased with it however I have developed a strange fault after 48hrs of ownership.
The oil light comes on along with low washer bottle and seatbelt light (when belt is being worn) I've also noticed the front and rear fog light indication light on the dash goes out whilst these are on.
Car runs fine no fault codes goes out for a bit then comes on again.
If anyone's got any ideas it would be appreciated
Many thanks

Morning All,
New to the Disco3 Forum and recently picked up a 55 plate HSE.
Looking forward to ask plenty of questions.
Thanks

Hi Martin
Thanks for the welcome to the DISCO3.CO.UK, community. I have had my Disco 3 for 7 years and I think they are the best vehicle on the road. I am a retired engineer and a bit of a petrol head.
My son has introduced me to your forum and I look forward using it.
I have a problem of front end shudder, when breaking and I think its the lower control arm bushes. The Land Rover parts are quite expensive, while the after market ones are half the price.
As I intend to change upper and lower control arms as well as the link bar, the after market parts offer quite a saving. Has anyone had any bad experiences with after market part. Also has anyone used LR Centre Limited in Liverpool.
Cheers for now
Phill

Hi from Bristol
Hi All,
Looking around to get some info and ideas as looking to get a LR3, will use it for towing a horsebox and across the off field when out shooting. I like the sound of an HSE 2.7 will look to try and get about a 2005 to keep it in the lower tax.
Decided to sell my 2005 Shogun as fancy a smoother ride etc
regards Nigel

Hello all, I have a 06 D3 I brought last year. Its a good SUV but has lil quirks. It is easy to work on with most things. I'm tracing a battery light on issue as we speak!! Thru this forum as I guest I found the water in the wire loom and the sunroof would not close found the trick for that. I decided to join and hope I can provide info to as well. Thanks all

Hello everyone. I'm brand new to this site so thank you for allowing me on board. I do not have a Disco 3 or 4, but I have Disco 2 and have had quite a few LRs over the years, and experience of driving Defenders, some of them BA Armoured vehicles, in various parts of the world, to 4x4s and Discos throughout Europe.
Now in my autumn years I am contemplating a Disco 4 and this morning I posted a query on another LR site asking about such things as Disco 4 cambelt replacement costs and turbo seal failures. It was following the recommendation of a fellow forum member that I found Disco3.
I won't abuse your welcome by launching straight into questions so I will have a browse around and may say again, thank you very much much for allowing me in.
