Hi all. New member just introducing myself.
I’m new to D3’s but have a long history with land rovers.
I hope I will find this site as useful as the defender one which I’m still actively a member of.
2006 SE in silver.

Welcome fella The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

Site newbie.
Evening everyone, Thanks for allowing me to view and maybe comment on your site. Ive been a green oval driver for about 18 yrs now, currently own a 55plate Range Rover Vogue but having owned a 09 D3 in the past, I think a Disco has better practicality for my needs. So although I`m in no great hurry (yet!) to change I`m watching D4 prices faults & foibles tips & tricks etc of D4 ownership. The Mrs & i are also touring caravanners with a 1650kg Bailey in tow.

Hi guys new member here from leicestershire, my names gavin and ive had the disco since september, its like marmite for me one day i love it and another day i hate it.
We use the disco as our family car and tow our large twin axle caravan also with it.
Ive had quite a few land rovers/range rovers in the past so hopefully i may have a slight bit of knowledge to help someone out.
Looking forward to chatting.

Hi
Hi
I'm new to the site and Land Rover. I'm actively looking for a discovery 3 HSE to replace my merc E320 so any tips or common faults would be helpful.
I went to look at one in Lymington this morning (HF04 MRD) It had few issues so I think I will avoid. Rust on last mot as advisory, ball joint gone, needs a new tyre, handbrake doesnt work, arm rest missing. All for £6500 with 140k on the clock.
Also it had spring coil conversion, is that a good or bad thing?
cheers
Ady

Hello all.
Ive been a member for a little while now, soaking up all the great tips and tricks.
some great posts from other members to get me out of trouble.
Back on scrolling through again, as timing belt tensioner decided to fall off!
Trying to decide which route to go down, engine suppliers? Try a new belt etc to see if damage done?
(was on idle when wife said car cut out and wouldn't start)
Anyway keep up the good work,
Cheers,
Sean.
