Just plastic buttons for the cargo cover / blind to clip into to both get it out of the way and fill the gap between the rear and middle row of seats when in full 'van mode'.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Never owned a good enough spec, I think my D3 had a blanking piece there.

thats the trick - it looked like a blanking piece but if you pushed it out popped a cup holder

Okay so adding to this today I found something *new* out. Forgive me again for my noobness to these cars
So for years it’s annoyed me that the D4 tailgate won’t open if the engine is running, this meant mainly that when dropping someone off and if they needed to grab a bag etc from the boot meant switching the engine off.
Or so I thought
Turns out if the Gearbox is in park and you press the unlock button you can now open the tailgate without switching the engine off
Probably should have RTFM
