What’s the old girl worth

No not SWMBO Laughing

Looking at getting a realistic valuation for both part-ex and private sale of my 110,000 mile MY10 HSE?

I don’t want to go on websites like webuyanycar and whatcar where I have to give my details and email only to then get bombarded by spam emails, I just want a simple answer. Any ideas?

You better edit that quickly and say MrsH = priceless. Thumbs Up Laughing Laughing

Worth trying WBAC, done it a good few times and never had problems with spam. No idea value but suspect you'd best be braced for impact. Thumbs Up

Oh and dibs on anything (in garage wise) worth having dibs on. Mr. Green

If you visit WBAC, there is a box that you can tick to ensure that you aren’t contacted and it really works!

I’ve always liked the photo of you two Disco’s, you aren’t really going to split them up, are you?! Shocked

Laughing Vultures the lot of you!

Nope, just getting an appraisal of value prior to discussing matters with Warranty Direct. As she’s never given me anything but flawless service, so long as WD continue cover, the Bali Beastie will stay.

And anything on Bali Beastie will get transferred to the Real Peril before it eventually goes up for sale.

Longer term I’m hoping to change the Beastie in for a new style Defender, but thats still a few years off, so I’m just trying to plan for the unexpected.

Autotrader gives you an idea for the sale price based on reg and mileage only (no contact details), plus tells you how much more that is than you would get for trade-in. I think the value is from Glass'

For reference, I just paid £15k for a 2010 HSE with 107,000 miles, and various extras like rear DVDs, fridge/cooler, side steps. I could have saved a grand or two if I'd been less fussy about the internal and external colours and the extras.

MrH, just plugged mine into Autotrader and got this. She's on 45,100 miles, and a much more discerning colour!! Laughing Laughing

Private sale = £19,810

Trade in = £17,910
