You are going to be in a world of hurt when she reads that, and she will. Unless you get a good price. Whistle Whistle

HWN & DSL - RU mice or men? Tell SWMBO to show restraint or you’ll find one that can!

My Plumber did that and he’s still married, just about.

Me, I get accused of putting a stick in the spokes without even opening my mouth, so I just smile at her, which really gets her goat. Laughing

How high are your gates?

Ours are 10ft high and the wonderful Hermes drivers must be practising for toss the caber when you see how far they can throw a parcel.

Now in some ways I am looking to the first really snowy/icy days and watch the local hermes drivers load their cars up outside and then try to drive up the slope outside our unit.

Professional dog walkers ( by this, I mean the ones that get paid to walk other peoples dogs)
Out running with my spaniel today , who is extremely well behaved and has a faultless recall,
Twice I had to turn around so that the dogs they had no control whatsoever over would head back in their direction after chasing me and mine. I know the dogs are only wanting to play, but should it be down to someone else to stop what they’re doing so the Walker can keep control of them?
If they won’t recall, don’t let them off lead. Simple, isn’t it..?

Bubblehead, do not get me going about Censored dog owners/walkers.

Dogs crapping at the end of our drive, somehow I am not too pleased standing in the dog crap and then jumping into our vehicles/walking into home. There again there are the idiots who pick up their dog crap and then dispose it by sticking it in a dry stone wall or a recycling bin!

Then you have the dog owners who can not contain their dogs at home so they escape and run around fields with stock in them. Dogs might think stock are play items, unfortunately the stock are not in play mode!

We had the same problem. I had a bit of corex printed with a warning then marked every deposit with a British Army mine marker with random labels written on in permanent marker.

Worked a treat.

Even worse than the unmarked deposits on the ground are those that think dog exhaust bags make great tree and fence decorations...

p.s. I do like those DNA test warning flags, shame it's the dog's DNA that will be detected and not that of the human in charge. Dogs do what they are going to do, but humans can direct or collect as appropriate.

Yesterday following a 70 plate Nissan when suddenly a red aluminium drinks can was lobbied out of the passenger window onto the grass verge. Why can't people dispose of their waste properly?

We hear a lot about plastic pollution in the oceans and that plastic is bad for the planet. I wonder how much of the plastic pollution in the oceans is due to people lobbing plastic drinks bottle onto grass verges, using dog poo bags as tree ornaments etc?

If you search YouTube for "Package thief cannon" + the "s**t" version of "poo", you will find a use for the excrement. It may even be adaptable to punish the owners... Whistle Whistle

Let's hope it doesn't get any worse or there'll be an excrement increment.

People (others may use alternative words) who complain about the operations of air ambulances.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-59451549

I hope that they don't need the services of an air ambulance, but they should rest safe in the knowledge that the crew will fly for them if needed.
