Wheel rotation

Ok I think this should be an easy one, just change the rear prop shaft and front wishbone lower bushings , drove the car out of drive and when turning felt a grating noise, so I mark all the tyre at the top and drove straight for about 100 meters, I rechecked the marks and the backs wheels were similar but the front ones had rotated more than the back is this normal? (Front left to right were still similar)Same size tyres and wheels, tarmaced road so no loose gravel to make tyres spin.
My dash also looks like a Christmas tree just now but that’s for another few questions later

4 wheel alignment required after suspension work, even if care was taken marking the bolts, certainly sounds like the issue if all was ok before Thumbs Up

Its normal , Front wheels will always travel further than the rear when turning a corner .
That's why the very first Land Rovers in 1948 ( which were permanent 4x4 but no centre diff) had a freewheel in the drive to the front,to allow the front to overrun on bends.
Having said that, wheel alignment or DSC issues such as Steering angle sensor calibration , can cause problems.

if OP measured this doing 100m in a straight line it should eeliminate cornering effect.

are tyres evenly worn ?

swap front/back and see if issue stays with tyres or ends of car.

Misread the 100 m , yes nominally should all rotate together in a straight line, are all the pressures correct ,tyres the same size, and same amount of tread ?

If you had wishbones off to do bushing then I would check wheel bearings and CV joints for the grating noise

I had the same recently after changing front half shafts and tie rods/ends and after getting an alignment.

In my case the issue was traction control being applied in error by the car. Solution - use my GAP IID tool to perform a steering angle re calibration.
