Cheers guys. I sorted this afternoon, very simple realy just took it to the dealers a swapped it for a D4. Laughing In my wildest dreams. It was the nut and not the stud spinning so did what macloud said and used smaller socket whacked on with hammer and hey presto came off on problemo Very Happy Thumbs Up

A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Same thing happened to me last year and solved it by twonking with big hammer approach also.

During the same wheel change the following also happened.......

so in summary...........

Bin the lockers
Bet a Quality Breaker Bar & 22mm socket (and a spare)
Torque (140N) the wheel nuts up yourself after a trip to the tyre fitters.

Thumbs Up

Exactly Ken, It was the advice from you n AndrewS that gave me the same calm attitude towards remedy. I did'nt know whether it was gonna work but should I have ever doubted you both.....NO

Then it happened again with my replacement lockers Big Cry Laughing ,but I dremmelled the turning heads off and used Halfords wheel nut removers with opposite threads, that worked too Mr. Green

So ditched them, cack design, cack idea Thumbs Up

god dam lock nuts

I work for a well known tyre company and i dont use impact guns on"any" custermers lock nuts due to all this problem if i see one of my tecs useing a gun on 1 the gun would be shoved up is Censored Censored where the sun dont shine de torq manualy all the time. and if i was a custermer i would insist they torq the nuts up to the manufactuers spec not with a air gun as they exseed more than 400nms of torq once at this torq loads of probs happen stretched threads knackerd nuts hubs Censored and not so happy custermers "that wont come back"
always up to somert usualy no good acording to swmbo
