Wheels correct?

I have these wheels on my car which were fitted when I got it.

My question is, are these original LR fit for my car and are they the correct offset etc?

It has 275/40/20 on it and they're scrubbing on the outer edges. I've ordered 4 x 255/50/20 to replace them but it occurred to me that these might not be LR4/Discovery wheels?

LR4/Discovery 4 TDV6 XS

Cheers, any help appreciated.

They look like a RR sport wheel to me. I think they are called style 9 and standard a RRS supercharged. I've not seen that style on a Disco before.

Thanks for that.

I assume that means the offset will be wrong?

Looks like I need to order 275/45/20's to get the running diameter right, but not sure about the offset.

Anyone with any more knowledge?

ET47 vs ET53? 6mm in it or am I reading that wrong? Wont this cause tyre edge scrubbing?

Cheers

Warren

You should inform your insurers as technically having these rims fitted are a modification from the vehicles standard specification. 👍

The lower offset just means the wheels sit slighty further out in the arch (and its partly due to tehm being a wider rim), and some say this helps with the apperance. I have run lower offset rims on my old D3 without any issues. Fit some 275/45x20's and tell you insurer and off you go

That's exactly what I've done. Privilege informed, no charge, they've even recorded them as Type 9 and tyres ordered on Tyre Savings. Being fitted on Wednesday.

Thanks everyone.

Happy now. Was p155ing me off not knowing.

😁
