Pressure sensors - Do they unscrew?

As the title says really, i picked up a spare set of wheels, but they have sensors on the valves.

I tried to unscrew, BUT feel very solid on the valve, thought i would double check on here first, BEFORE i end up splitting the valve or something. Do these get glued on, never had them before, but would like to add some air in one of the wheels.

Could be corroded on. It’s I believe a common issue with this type.

Common problem with the metal type caps, you may need new valve stalks with plastic caps to eliminate this problem, but..........in my book they are not sensors, sensors are metal stalks(valves) not rubber Shocked cap and retaining sleeve/nut need to be plastic.

Just make sure there isn't a retaining ring at the back of the sensor that has a little allen key grub screw through it as my old ones secured to the valve like that Thumbs Up

Well, I believe they had just corroded on, either way they have gone now.
One came off with a little force, the rest took half the valves with them.

New valves fitted all round now.

Thanks for the replies.

These are after market pressure sensors. I have them on mine and they work very well.
Because they rely on being kept tight to stop air leaks (they 'override' the valves) they have a locking nut under them on the valve stem. Originally they would have been supplied with a small offset flat spanner.
if people pump their tyres up occasionally they will unscrew these and they shouldn't get stuck on. Mine have worked perfectly for over a year !!
