just tried these, and they will go on (see post above), regarding wheelnuts and tyres.

Thanks al cope good to know they would fit but a shame you can't get the right load rating for the 50 profile as that would give you the correct rolling radius , 275 are a bit big for my tastes and i know from experience how handling etc could be compromised
I am surprised ffrr have a lower load rating

I guess its 'cause the D3 is even more FF than the RR. It weighs more I think.

I think the issue is actually especially for road use. Under-rated tyres aren´t likely to just collapse while static or low speed, the issue will arise due to more distortion in the sidewalls (due to the lower weight rating), causing excessive heating in the tyre carcase and consequent failure at speed. This is the reason many fast cars are limited to 155mph etc, it is a potential tyre/high speed/high load/high ambient temp issue.Cheers

How??
They are the same wheels (19" FFRR) that I have on mine I think these are the 2006 onward variety

Def look like the old 6 spoke FFRR rims!
Problem with those ISTR is that they fouled the rear brake calipers. I remember a couple of members trying these and whilst they could get them fitted to the rear hubs, they wouldn't turn. Mabe the seller has had a go with an axle grinder???

Or perhaps the rear calipers have been removed Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

Well I've just tried one of these rims on mine and mucho fouling of the front (Brembo) brake caliper is the result. The rim wouldn't even sit flat on the disc face. Comparing with my RRS 19" there is much more curve in the RRS spokes away from the wheel mounting face, quite obvious when side by side viewed from the inside of the wheel.
Didn't try the rear as obviously no good to me if they don't fit the fronts - but I have S/C spec rear discs so the calipers aren't in the same space as normal so not even good info for those with std rear brakes.
I have 4 of these rims going spare (3 with <3mm Scorpions, 1 bare rim), if anyone does find they fit a std D3 and wants to use them for cheap offroad rims they are welcome to them. They require the older black wheelnuts but I can supply those at small cost if anyone wants them, rims would be free to a good home.Cheers
