I'm looking to replace my old Draper BC30A 12/24v charger with a CTek Multi XS 3600 (MXS3600) as this seems to be the popular one one here. I need it for both a 2010MY and 2016MY D4 and understand these have different max charging voltages, so is the MXS3600 the right one? LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

How much do you want to spend?Club Exped trailer
Club Timed Climate
Club Flappy paddle steering wheel
Club 300bhp
Club Prospeed test pilot/lab rat
Club National Luna Stella conditioner
I'm not looking for cheap and cheerful as I'll need to use it on a weekly basis for the 2010MY, if not more often, during the winter due to frequent short journeys and more frequent fbh/park use - plus occasionally for the 2016MY. So looking for a decent quality, but not not going overboard - also don't need 24v. Ideally not much over the £100 mark, but obviously the cheaper the happier the wallet will be.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I've got an MXS10, and I'm certainly very happy with it. The advantage is that it will charge both normal and AGM batteries at 10amps. The XS3600 is rated for 7ah to 75ah batteries, which isn't really enough for the Disco batteries, and at only 3.6amps, it'll take a lot longer to get a decent amount of charge into the battery.D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT

If spending this much I might consider holding off a little longer with the purchase and save up for a wall hung with 6m extension unit like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00SXPZAGSLRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I've got a XS3600,XS7000 and an MXS25
I'm not entirely convinced the MXS25 does as good a job of charging a battery as the XS7000, sure it's quick, it will get enough charge to start a vehicle in a short space of time but I think it can be a bit brutal on an old/tired battery.
Unless you need the high current I would get an MXS10, as you get the quick release/comfort feature too that isn't present on the MXS25IID PRO

Just found a Used MXS25000 for £118.72, apparently older model of the MXS25, so may get that, any thoughts?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
Hadn't seen your response armalites. As I don't need fast charging, overnight is fine, there's food for thought in this.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I agree with armalites, unless you really need the 25amps, I'd spend your money on the MXS10. All of the quick connect accessories of the CTEK are only rated up to 10amps, and as I can't hook my D4 up in a garage, I needed to be able to use the charger outside with the bonnet shut and the vehicle locked and alarmed.D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
