White smoke on hard acceleration and a question on injectors

So my car emits a white puff of smoke upon hard acceleration. No issues regarding power or economy, the puff of smoke happens only if I am driving slowly through traffic and then plant the throttle. A bud says it's cause of regeneration. Any ideas?

Another question - In general, what is the lifespan of injectors and what are the signs of wear?

Thanks in advance

Well known problem and, if the turbines are in place, of relatively easy solution.

I had mine done earlier this year, no smoke on start up and no smoke under heavy acceleration (maybe very occasional tiny puff) - well worth it

Copied from the pasted post

I believe all vehicles after VIN DA676456 were fitted with the shorter pipe as standard, so this only applies to earlier D4s (date tbc).

Also use the link to the Tech Bulletin, show VIN and years affected - 2010 - 2013
