I'm sorry to report that it's a shockingly bad game, and the presence of Land Rovers does not overcome its deficiencies. If you want a "truck" racing game, then I'd steer towards "Excite Truck" instead.
Otherwise, you'll get better and longer value out of a decent bottle of wine.*

Very true - I love excite truck. A real hoot. IMO much better than Mario Kart wii which my 8yo son licks me at every time. My pride is still intact with Excite Truck so I maintain that it is a superior game Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

can confirm that the Land Rover Off Road game is ... poor
but its also something to do with the free floating Wii wheels - I just can't get the hang of them Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I purchased the Wii land rover game for my son with a steering wheel thrown in as a stocking filler.
Now normally I would be feeling down about the fact everyone says it's not much good, but I got it from Zavvi and there was a mess up with the price, should have been over £20, barcode came up £4.98, store assistant took them off the shelves and gave it to me for that price with the steering wheel.

What? In the 20 minutes between Slipware's and my post? Some financial advisor you are; the stuff is positively burning a hole in your pocket!
Think of it as 3 gals of derv or packs of tabs and it won't seem so bad

I think it is a great game, but I've been playing it in one form or another for several years! The Indiana Jones game is similar and so is the Batman game. Great for youngsters, no violence etc but plenty of puzzle solving fun. Your average 15 year old will hate it DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Lego Star wars is a great game for younger kids. My 8 year old spent ages on this until he had cracked most of the puzzles. He still plays occasionally. In terms of hours played for money spent this one is a winner. Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

Back on topic - got extremely lucky today in the Game-in-Borders Franchise in Stockport - I wandered in with SWMBO and avoided a hyooooooge queue to ask a friend (working stacking game cases behind the counter) if they had any Wii Fit's in - "sorry, no" she says followed a split second later by her colleague at the till turning around and saying "actually we've just had one returned" "put that aside for me, i'll get in the queue" I say - and bingo - one Wii Fit bought, paid for and well bl**dy exercised this afternoon
Strange how my Wii Fit Mii is a fat chubby little man though Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
