Will 17' wheels fit a G4 TDV6 S

Looking at a G4 TDV6 S MY 08, currently has 19's with MTR's.
The S spec came out here with 17', but could they have put the
bigger front brake discs on from the V8. I have an extra set
of 17' wheels which have my off road tires fitted and are much
better due to the higher side wall. So the question is will they fit ?

Should do, easy way to check is try one. I run my S on standard 17"ers when I don't need muds.

17"ers for roads as much better ride on our crap roads, none of vagueness of the 18" & 19" Scorpions, ride better as more sidewall. Also they are cheap as chips as everyone wants to pimp their ride, got 4 new takeoffs for £165!!! Used them for green laning, 2 Tunisia trips and general use and tough as old boots! Have them in SWMBO's D3 and she's well happy compared with the 18" Wranglers!

19" MTRs were what were around when bought my D3 and stuck with them, FFRR 7 spokers bottom of the RR food chain so cheap to buy. Method in my madness or what! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

U should see ND in the flesh, even scarier!!! Wink

Good job I've got 13 of them on rims (and 4 spare tyres) plus 2 sets of 5 18"ers, 6 19" FFRRs with MTRs (and 4 spare MTR tyres only), and second set of of Honda Jazz summer tyres (plus 2 spare tyres)!!! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

The quest continues, looking for 4 FFRR rims to wrap the spare MTRs around. Whistle Whistle

The idea is to stick with the 17's as they give a very good ride and
don't suffer as much damage off roading. I run AT's as my daily
town set as alot of our are roads are suffering from pot holes and
they coup better from a safety point of view, the ride is good too.
As I don't plan to sell the other one, the wife is due for an up grade,
the freelander is getting a little too expensive to maintain, so I will
hand it over to her, then remove the kit as and when I have time.
