| Exterior mirror mechanism? |

My 2012MY n/s mirror is struggling to fold. When i lock the car it tries to fold but cannot. Is there a way to get into the mechanism to see whats happening and maybe lube/free it off

Push them forward them lubricate the mechanism that is what I did on my D3 as had similar issue

Had the mirror off today and stripped and it looks as though its going to need a new one 
It looks as though at some point the mirror has been tw*tted and the plastics are not going together neatly. I can get the mirror to fold now but it hasn't the strength to reopen. It looks like its been stuck a while and possibly weakened the motor
