Wind Deflectors and Power Fold Mirrors

Fitted Climair deflectors and they seem to foul the powerfold mirrors when folded in.

Does anyone have same problem with Heko deflectors ? Defender 300Tdi 110 HCP - Keswick Green
Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE LUX - Montalcino Red/Black Pack - Gone

Mine do hit but doesn't stop the mirrors folding in. Just that horrible noise as if they're gonna crack b

My concern is the strain on mirror motor pushing against the deflector. Defender 300Tdi 110 HCP - Keswick Green

I've changed my mirrors for D4 mirrors and to be honest I think the deflectors would give in first looking at the insides of the mirrors.

Hair dryer on the deflector, warm it up, fold mirrors in & you create a shaped deflector - just stops the excess noise Paul.

Paul, which deflectors do you have that allowed you to reshape with a hairdryer? I'm about to place an order for some smoked Climair ones, but will hold off after seeing this thread! 2016MY Discovery 4 Commercial , 3.0 SDV6 Auto, Santorini Black, side-steps, 510s.

Mods: LED interior lights. Front guard.
Soon: black grille, tinted windows.

Scotland 2016 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 SE Tech Auto Corris GreyDiscovery 4

I fitted Heko to my D3 and now D4, both fouled the powerfold mirrors so I just trimmed enough off the deflectors to allow the mirrors to fold properly, didn't take long and if its done sympathetically, hard to notice 8)

I've seen in the forum a lot of people complaining about the extra noise from the deflectors... mostly about the Climair. Do the Heko ones add a lot of noise when on the mway? 2016MY Discovery 4 Commercial , 3.0 SDV6 Auto, Santorini Black, side-steps, 510s.

Re Noise, i've never had an issue, car not the most aerodynamically designed as it is & I have a stereo Paul.
