Like anything, you gets what you pays for.
£130 is a very good price. What film does he use, what's the warranty, how long is it ? Does he fit edge to edge, i'e on a D3 does he remove, moving windows to ensure edge to edge fitting, or does he just trim to edges without removing, or just trimming the rubber edging strips . . .
At the end of the day, if you are happy with the job and the price paid then can't say fairer than that
you sound like a man who's worried.... calm down
You're clearly in the trade, I'm the end user, why oh why would I be asking such irrelevant questions, SWMBO wanted done, I got it done, dont need to be too concerned about how its done, its done

Although not relevant, mine is Silver with the tints fitted by the dealer after delivery. I just missed the factory glass option by a couple of days as I took too long to decide after ordering it.
They do look good and add something to the car. I would not have a D3 without ugly kid glass now
Agree with JKP, silver need the tints, it look so much better.
I had mine done in the group buy, really pleased.

1st - I don't need to calm down thanks
2nd - Clearly I'm not in the trade, I work with Life support Machines, in Hospitals
3rd - Would you buy a car or expensive service without knowing that it was safe and came with a warranty ? Well it's not irrelevant then is it
4th - I clearly said you are happy and that's all that matters. You are, so that is ALL that matters
5th - as for being concerned about how it's done. Do you know how to break a window with it fitted, in the event of a door jam - Accident ?
I did organise this group buy, http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic20192.html with better prices (than one of the other links) and did all the homework about quality. Hence I do have a working knowledge of the pro's and cons. I also now know the trade prices of professional films
As I'm not in the trade perhaps you will see that I'm not worried and don't need to calm down, I have organised a very well received group buy with a very good midland company and therefore have gained some knowledge of a fairly complex subject. That's all . . ."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

You can still break the glass in the same way as a window without the film. The difference is all the glass is held together with the film. It is then just a case of pushing the broken glass and film out. Which I am told is relatively easy (althogh I haven't tried)Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it

I would recommend you don't answer that on a public forum 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I had it done for £180.00 all in and I think the job is pretty good.
As for the process involved and which tints they used, I am in the dark about that
Eggzackerly if done well, that's just how it should be, And a good company should tell you that
Security film, they had flippin well better tell you as it still takes a good bit of force from the inside."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."
