Windscreen hit - 2nd time

I have just had my second smashed windscreen in less than 12 months. At over £700 a time my insurers are going to become nervous.

Both impacts have been on the n/s lower corner within 5cm of each other. I think the stones bounce off the plastic wheel extension covers.

Does any member know if after market bug/stone guards are available yet as I fitted my Dodge Ram with same with great success?

Any advice PLEASE. Rolling Eyes Ex. owner Dodgy Ram 2500 6ltr. Cummins, now owner c/be dodgy Disco3 Come back Toyota all is forgiven.

I'm in the same boat, although in our case, the impact was on the upper right of the screen, just on the edge, with the result that the screen cracked immediately right across the driver's view.
This happened twice in a row Mad

Any suggestions very much appreciated !

Im about to get mine tinted (i know that people will say that this is illegal) the tint is a special film no darker than an OEM tint by some car manufactures.

What it does do is, reflect heat, stop glare (i have this on my side windows and it really does work), the other benefit is that if your window is hit by a stone it reduces the chances of a crack to a chip (bad enough but easier to fix)

I had tints fitted at delivery by my dealer, everyone in the Middle East has 'em - the tints are always fitted on the inside of the screen so I woudn't have thought it adds much protection.
