WINDSCREEN TOP RUBBER FILLET

The rubber fillet between the top of the windscreen and the roof on my 2014 D4 has detached. Anyone know what they are fixed in with?

Same happened to me - I just pushed it back in! I don’t think there is any glue or sealant.

This is covered by a topix item to be repaired by LR for the right VIN. Do a search on here should find it,

Cheers found it but my Vin no is not in that range plus my dealer is nearly a 3 hr round trip so if I can do a quick fix myself it would be easier, plus I can make a better job than the picture I saw! Thinking of cleaning the channel well then a fairly good strip of silicon on bottom of the channel and push the rubber on to that and leave overnight.

I have to say I'm pretty disgusted with land rover not issuing a notification about it if they knew of the problem, when mine came loose on the motorway it made an horrendous noise and forced a hard shoulder stop a busy motorway while I tried to figure out what was going on.

Same happened to me on the motorway yesterday. Loud bang and then lots of flapping noise.

Did you use sealant and has it been ok since? Also which sealant did you use please?

Many thanks.

John
