Wing mirror ..does it come apart

After some industrial size road sweeper wacked my wing mirror today i have noticed the main swivel bit is all loose . It looks like some clips have broken .

My question has any body taken the thing apart , can any individual parts be replaced , or is it a complete new unit ?

Bummer ..as there is actually no marks on it , and the glass is intact Sad G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Yep powerfold .

3 years in my old one and no damage to any wing mirrors ..2 weeks in a bright orange one and some fooker didnt see me Shocked G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Old post I konw, but did you manage to replace the cover wiggs? White van man decided to take mine out just now. Mirror glass is bust, and the mirror housing is loose as you describe.... Andy

There not supposed to come apart ..but you can drill out 3 plastic rivets and then the front and rear cover come off .

Some self tapping screws will hold it back together ..or a blob of glue on the pastic rivets G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
