I had that after it'd been in for some work doing on the door. As I suspected, it seems they'd reconnected a plug upside down when putting it back together. I guess you'll have to take the door card off and have a look around if you want to sort it on your own...

Forgot an important point, its intermittent! Big Cry

Most of the time it works fine then sometimes it plays up... or was it down Laughing

Was thinking of water in a plug... door card off sounds like a good idea! Thumbs Up

Have you got electric seats (with memory)?

A while ago, mt driver's side mirror would adjust itself. The problem was traced to the wiring under the driver's seat. Because LR are such tight-a***s, the wire pulls very tight because it's too short when the seat is moved back, and it can get trapped. Eventually it shorts, hence causing the mirror to have a mind of its own.

Hi, yes they are electric with memory.

Sounds very likely to be what you describe! Have been trying to suss the memory function for the seats with both keys (recent thread on here). Noticed it then, so it must have some kind of connection (or maybe a short Laughing )

Cheers Nigel, will check it out Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Hi nigel207 - Its looking like the same kinda problem. Thumbs Up

When I move the seat fully forward the mirror starts behaving! I have had a look but can't see anything obvious.

I am now getting an airbag warning light! Same again - now moved the seat forward and the warning light has gone off! Have to investigate further.....
