Carry on DG. She says 'no'! Apparently it won't take an additional storage card which she says she needs for her copious pictures and music (I know she could use cloud storage, but she won't) BUT most importantly ITS THE WRONG COLOUR!! Evil or Very Mad

Isn't it the same software as the oculus? My son played with a developer kit, made him feel sick!

I think it probably is the same. Tom's developing Unity, he has a truck driving simulator that is very realistic!

Yes it runs with Oculus software through the handset and can do most things the Rift can ...though a slightly narrower field of view the Samsung runs at higher resolution.

As for the sickness issue ...it seems there are some that get it and others don't....initially it seems my brain is OK with it but I'll let you know Laughing Some great applications in the software library though Smile

Is Tom writing anything for commercial use Gareth ?

I think he is. The company he is with at the moment (Relentless Software) are involved in some 'big' project. Its so secret even Tom's keeping his mouth shut!

The truck driving was just a learning exercise.

My son reckoned it was the lag that caused it which I guess is why they suggested minimum spec of PCs is so high.
