I assume the centre bearing has been replaced in its previous life

How can such a vital part (cover to joint/splines) be left off?

Question is
Can I get a replacement cover
Will a large universal boot do the job? + grease of course Thumbs Up [/i]

That’s a super bodge....

Tbh, change the whole thing for new as you’ll never get a good seal again on the cover and the grease will just come out.

‘New’ to me but good used one turned up today

All looks spot on
Center bearing and rubber is good
Rear uj is free and no slack
Movement on splines is good with no slack again

Gotta be better than what’s on yog at mo lol

£90 delivered Thumbs Up

As a matter of interest, does anyone know what the normal range of movement is on the splines?
